The mansion sits on an estate of several acres and included the main house, a two car garage with a “mother in law” apartment above. and a frame home on the property. The frame home was probably for the “help”, usually a married couple There was also a large barn and smaller outbuildings overgrown at the back of the property. The home is rumored to have been built by the town founder, but couldn’t confirm that. It appears the house was last occupied in the 1990’s. Construction was probably in the early 1920s or earlier.
