In the Shadow of Giants
Not a whole lot to say about this one. A bungalow likely built in the 50s with some of it’s original elements still intact, although some areas had seen rather modern upgrades over the years. Give that it has a relatively large lot the property is likely worth $3-4 million even though the house is quite modest.
It appears as though it was last lived in by renters given that I had found a for lease listing. The fate for this home has already been sealed, with the power cut and a development proposal in the works, this one will be demolished. Until then the house sits abandoned and forgotten. The plan is to replace it and the surrounding properties with townhouse condominiums, I would imagine that the new homes wouldn’t go for less than a million dollars in this still yet inflated real estate market. Until then the house sits abandoned and forgotten.
