The crumbling walls are all that is left of the once palatial mansions owned by the richest people of Donbas region. Looters have gutted mansions of Donetsk elite, taking everything from the chandeliers to the fireplaces and furniture. Thieves spared nothing, taking everything. Many mansions were damaged by shelling.
Thousands of Ukrainian people left their homes in Donbas because of Russian aggression.
