Back in 2013 abandoned mansions were really not a thing on the Ontario Urban Exploring scene. Someone along the line had learned of this huge abandoned mansion in Oakville that in the process of being demolished. This home was once the Most Expensive Home in Canada, built in the 1990’s by and for Peter Gilgan, the owner of Mattamy Homes.

This huge home had 9 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a 20 seat home theatre and a games room. The grounds featured a baseball diamond, rock waterfall, swimming pool, gazebo, guest cottage and breathtaking views over Lake Ontario.
